Dance + Music Residencies

GalleryAs part of its EARobics Music + Dance series, Dancehouse is offering two, 20 hour, funded residencies at its North Carlton studios to support collaborations between musicians/sound artists and dancers/choreographers.

There were two categories of residency applications called for: a new collaborative relationship between a dancer and musician and an established collaborative relationship between a dancer and musician.

  • New collaborative relationship (20 hours + $1500)
  • Established collaborative relationship (20 hours + $1500)

The assessment panel consisted of: Madeleine Flynn, Tim Humphrey and David Tyndall.  DANCEHOUSE received 16 applications, the quality of which made it a difficult choice to choose only two.
