The Delta Project began as group of deaf and hearing dancers working together to create and perform dance. Moving beyond a 'community' based project, the Delta Project, by considering the particular needs of deaf dancers, aims to enable dancers who are deaf to work alongside hearing dancers in a full and professional capacity.

In July and August 2013, The Delta Project and Dancehouse, with the support of City of Yarra and Arts Access Victoria, will host a series of workshops for deaf and hearing dancers.

The workshops, taught by established local teachers and dance makers, will cover a range of contemporary dance practices.
