Dancehouse stands on what always was and always will be Aboriginal land. We pay our respects to the traditional owners of this land, the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation, to their elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

Dancehouse Sundays

Around the last Sunday of each month, Dancehouse welcomes two dynamic and exciting events run and hosted by local dance curators and communities.

In the afternoon, a Dancehousing group runs a special event: all style battles, showcases, balls, and sharings. And in the early evening, improvisational performance event Now Pieces is performed and curated by local dance luminaries.
