In line with current safety advice from the Victorian Government, Dancehouse has limited operations and access during COVID-19

Dancehouse’s COVIDSafe Plan — August/September 2020

Dancehouse has developed a COVIDSafe Plan (updated in August/September 2020) to ensure the continued safe use, or not, of Dancehouse spaces for our community, artists and staff.

Our CovidSafe plan is informed by the Federal Government’s 4 Step Framework for a COVIDSafe Australia, outlining different requirements and processes at each Step. During COVID-19, Dancehouse follows the guidelines of the Victorian Government, which may have stricter requirements than other states and territories.

From 2 August, and in line with current Victorian Government directives, Dancehouse is currently closed due to STEP 4 Restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne.

This shutdown will see Dancehouse closed for at least 6 weeks with the potential for a re-staged opening, pending Government advice, from Monday 24 August.

Dancehouse is guided by MANAGING COVID–19: Recommendations for the Victorian Dance Sector (Ausdance Victoria) and The Principles and Framework for Restarting Dance Activities Post COVID-19, developed by Ausdance QLD in collaboration with the Ausdance National Network and BlakDance.

We welcome your feedback on our COVIDSafe plan at any time.
