Community Skills for Climate Action program

Dancehouse is offering two artists the opportunity to participate in the Community Skills for Climate Action program supported through City of Yarra, City of Darebin and City of Moreland.
The program connects 75 community activists — 25 from each Council area — and consists of 9 sessions facilitated by Pru Gell and Matt Wicking.
Sessions are 7-9pm on Thursday nights between 6 May and 16 September.
Some sessions are in-person at locations in Thornbury, Brunswick and North Fitzroy, others are online.
Dancehouse will pay an honorarium of $1,200 + Superannuation to each artist to participate in the program.
Following the program, the two Dancehouse artists will present a public program at Dancehouse to share reflections and connect with other dance artists interested in climate action, environmental practice.
To submit an EOI for this opportunity, please include:
- BIO — Please attach a short artistic bio or resume (Approx. 150 words)
- STATEMENT — Tell us about your interest in climate action and how it relates to your work or practice as a dance artist. (Approx. 200 words)
EOIs have now closed
