Conditions of Entry

YOUR HOUSE is offered to give you a COVIDSafe space for you to play, practice and research at Dancehouse.

Successful YOUR HOUSE recipients can invite up to 4 others (total 5 people) to their session. The successful recipient must complete Dancehouse COVID induction and sign a venue use agreement.

For all our safety, any visitor to Dancehouse must follow Dancehouse’s COVIDSafe Plan. This includes:

  • Meet outside Dancehouse. The person who has been inducted into Dancehouse’s COVIDSafe plan can answer your questions or clarify Dancehouse’s policies;
  • Everyone must sign-in when they enter Dancehouse and agree they are not unwell and do not have any COVID symptoms;
  • Maintain physical distancing of 1.5 metres;
  • Wear a face mask if you cannot keep 1.5 metres distance from others, unless you have a lawful reason not to wear a face mask.
  • Follow ‘Get in, dance, get out’ principles to minimise your time indoors and in common areas like the foyer.

YOUR HOUSE is Dancehouse’s welcome-back-offer of basic studio use for artists for research, practice and play following the 2020 COVID shutdown. YOUR HOUSE is not to be used for public classes, rehearsals or for any venue use that requires staffing, technical or event specifications or queries. Please hire Dancehouse if you need any of this.

Good luck and hope to see you in the studio soon!

YOUR HOUSE is supported by Dancehouse and Creative Victoria.
