In-Between: Intro to Contemporary for Adults 30+

In-Between is an open class welcoming adult dancers willing to keep dancing beyond their 30s. While regular classes with younger dancers might be intense, In-Between dancers have more energy to burn than what is required in senior classes.
At In-Between, Sara and Elena will take the class from a gentle warm-up to some interesting contemporary phrases using an eclectic mix of world music from different eras.
Participants can expect anything from Renaissance tunes to fun pop. Choreography will cover floor work, kicks, turns and travelling with changing directions. The class will also include improvisation prompts.
We will guide you through the basics of Contemporary dance and make you curious about how we can inhabit the body. Whether you had danced before or returned to dance after decades, you’ll find a safe, playful and inspiring place to experience the joy of dancing again and meet like-minded dancers.

Be in the body with us and leave feeling inspired and super energised!
