The Dancehouse Program Manager is an experienced producer and/ or program manager who leads in the design and management of the artistic programs at Dancehouse. As a significant producing and presenting house for projects by dance artists, the Program Manager is critical to the expert functioning of Dancehouse as part of a small dynamic team.
The Program Manager is a leadership role which actively works alongside the CEO/ Artistic Director. They are responsible for producing programs to the highest standard from design, planning, production, marketing, budgeting, and contracting. The role is diverse, rewarding, creative, and busy.
You will be a respected producer, artist, or arts worker who is confident and competent in what it takes to make, create, produce and present dance projects. You will have excellent communication skills. Your passion will be for the delivery of artists’ visions, and you will be a strong community advocate always thinking long-term about the dance sector.
You will love dance. All dance. And will enjoy working in a year-round theatre context.

The Marketing & Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in growing the audiences, reputation and reach of Dancehouse as a premier centre for dance in Australia and internationally.
The Marketing & Communications Manager will devise, drive and implement promotional campaigns across Dancehouse channels and ensure an engaging Dancehouse brand, style, and voice.
Dancehouse’s Marketing & Communications Manager is critical to the expert functioning of Dancehouse as part of a small dynamic team. Responsible for designing and leading effective and visually exciting campaigns. Work is varied and will naturally play to the talents and specialisms of the Marketing and Communications Manager.
You will be an organised and responsible creative leader with interest to develop skills and incredible experience in marketing & communications. You will have excellent written communication skills across media platforms. You have experience in web design/ CRM management, social media management, and are capable with Adobe’s creative suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere. You will delight in content producing and have an understanding of publicity in the arts.
You will work closely with the internal Dancehouse artistic team along with dance artists, producers, thinkers, teams and partners connected to Dancehouse. You will work happily in a year-round theatre — Dancehouse is a busy organisation where all staff work flexibly including some out of hours, night, and weekend work from time to time.
