WEEKEND WORKSHOP: BUTOH AS CREATIVE CATALYST

“When I dance, I try to become one with the light, but I also know that the shadow is always with me.”

Following last year’s popular weekend workshop at Dancehouse, Yumi returns to guide participants in discovering their own ‘creative gateway’ through Butoh—a dance form rich in physical and philosophical depth. She will explore 10 focused points, drawing from both classical and contemporary approaches.
