Dancehouse stands on what always was and always will be Aboriginal land. We pay our respects to the traditional owners of this land, the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation, to their Elders past and present, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

Creating your CI Toolkit

A weekend immersion exploring fundamental principles and skills of Contact Improvisation.
Interweaving dancing with exercises and drills we will discover, practice, and create a basic ‘Toolkit’ for the dance that is Contact Improvisation. We will roll, fall, spiral, dance….breathe, share weight, listen, dance….imprint pathways, sense, lean into boundaries, dance……
Creating your CI Toolkit will be a fun, physical and informative weekend.
Feel free to contact Catherine if you have any questions.

Catherine Magill has been dancing and performing for 32 years.
