This is event is suitable for those with experience and comfort in improvisation and performance.

A performance improvisation peer practice event in 3 parts.

Part One

Practicing longer performances (20mins plus). Join this session as a performer or watcher. Session duration and structure determined by number of participants, performance times, discussion and suppertime. May occur across multiple spaces simultaneously.

Part Two

Starting with a whole group led warm up, then breaking into groups for peer practice. Number of participants will determine how many practice slots will be available, in how many spaces.

Part Three

An opportunity for workshop participants to invite friends and family to a casual performance. Performers will need to register for a performance slot.

Catherine Magill and Peter Trotman each have over 30 years experience as Improvised Performance artists. Leading practitioners of the form they have taught and performed both nationally and internationally. Both artists work with movement and text and are known for their strong sense of theatre, clever repartee and diverse movement styles. Catherine and Peter are excited to present this second peer practice event for the Improvisation Community.
