Fine Lines mature dance is an intergenerational company of lifelong artists who identify deeply as dancers. We aspire to challenge stereotypes, debunk myths and present new work that communicates something to you. We strive to build new skills, hone existing ones and grow as artists.

Tempus is Latin for time. In 2013, Fine Lines offered its first contemporary dance for mature bodies class, so as we head towards our tenth birthday, it seems fitting that the works for this season are based on the notion of time.

The works in this program are choreographed and directed by Fine Lines company members in collaboration with the dancers: Kym King, Shannon Parsons, Angelina Nicole and Katrina Rank. Diverse in their choreographic approaches and performative modes, the works acknowledge and celebrate the ensemble’s rich makeup, deep embodiment of dance throughout a lifetime and engage with contemporary issues through satire and make believe.
